Sustainable Energy Source Selection for Industrial Complex in Vietnam: A Fuzzy MCDM Approach

Shifting from fossil energy to renewable is considered an inevitable trend limit greenhouse gas emissions, protect the environment and reduce dependence on fuels. In that trend, many companies globally, especially multinational corporations with great influence have pioneered use of clean energy. The fact more are committing taking specific actions accelerate transition sources a good sign in joint efforts whole world towards greener future. Vietnam, production business activities for sustainable development also increasingly interested by businesses. Recently, businesses advantage sources, aiming environmentally friendly solutions create products meet green standards, increasing competitiveness market. However, selection suitable resource each industrial complex project not simple task as this involve multiple quantitative qualitative criteria. research, author proposed fuzzy multicriteria decision making model (F-MCDM) source utilizing Spherical Analytic Hierarchy Process (SF-AHP) Technique Order Preference Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS). main contribution study propose MCDM support planners makers resources evaluation process complexes projects Vietnam.
